Description
2026-2027 Sexual Assault Services Grant Programs (SASP) This Request for Applications (RFA) for the federal Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Sexual Assault Services Program for an 18-month project period July 2026-December 2027. Under this program, Nebraska provides grants specifically designed to support the establishment, maintenance, and expansion of rape crisis centers and other essential programs that directly serve victims of sexual assault. These funds are made available to nonprofit, nongovernmental organizations and tribal programs, ensuring that communities statewide can address the complex needs of sexual assault survivors effectively.

All applications shall be submitted electronically through the Euna application portal. All documents must be saved in a Word, Excel, or PDF format. Scanned copies will not be accepted, other than signatures. Prior to submitting the application, have all documents from the Required Documents Checklist completed and ready for upload. All documents are required for a complete application and must be submitted at one time. It is advised to submit the application well in advance of the due date. No in-process applications will be accepted when the application portal closes. Late applications cannot be accepted due to computer or submission issues that could have been mitigated with proper planning and time management. Please plan time accordingly.
