Youth Outdoor Education Innovation Fund (YOEIF)
Description
The Youth Outdoor Education Innovation Fund was established to provide funding to a non-profit organization to construct, develop, or renovate a youth outdoor education camp west of the one hundredth meridian that was destroyed by a natural or manmade disaster that occurred after January 1, 2022. It is codified in Neb. Rev. Stat. ยงยง 81-1213.04 and 811213.05.
The Fund permits the Nebraska Department of Economic Development to award one grant, not exceeding ten million dollars ($10,000,000.00), to an Eligible Grantee for the construction of the Youth Outdoor Education Camp.

Nebraska Department of Economic Development has designed the Youth Outdoor Education Innovation Fund to be extended to a nonprofit organization to construct, develop, or renovate a youth outdoor education camp that was destroyed by a natural or manmade disaster after January 1, 2022.
The Eligible Grantee must provide supporting source documentation demonstrating that matching funds have been received in the amount requested for release on a 1:1 basis.
