SFY 2024 SASP

This solicitation is for applicants who wish to apply for competitive funds under the Federal Sexual Assault Services Formula Program (SASP) (Statutory Authority 34 U.S.C. § 12511). SASP funds are solely dedicated to the provision of direct intervention and related assistance to help victims and survivors of sexual assault heal from the trauma of sexual violence.

It is highly recommended that applicants complete the submission process 72 hour prior to the deadline to avoid any delays that may result from technical difficulties. Once any attachments are uploaded it is suggested that applicants open the documents to ensure the correct document properly loaded.

Awards are limited to rape crisis centers and other non-profit, nongovernmental organizations or tribal programs for programs and activities that provide direct intervention and related assistance. The term “rape crisis center” means a nonprofit, nongovernmental, or tribal organization, or governmental entity in a state other than a territory that provides intervention and related assistance to victims of sexual assault without regard to their age. In the case of a governmental entity, the entity may not be part of the criminal justice system (such as a law enforcement agency) and must be able to offer a comparable level of confidentiality as a nonprofit entity that provides similar victim services.
