SFY 2024 STOP

This solicitation is for applicants who wish to apply for funds under the Federal Services * Training * Officers * Prosecutors (STOP) Violence Against Women Formula Grant Program (Statutory Authority 34 U.S.C. §§ 10441, 10446-10451). STOP funds support multifaceted approaches to responding to the crimes of domestic violence (including intimate partner violence), dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human sex trafficking.

It is recommended that the submission process be completed 72 hour prior to the deadline to avoid delays that may result from technical difficulties. Once attachments upload open documents to ensure the correct items properly loaded. There will not be technical assistance provided after 24 hours before the application is due. • State and local units of government and Indian tribal governments. • Nonprofit, nongovernmental victim services providers. Proof of 501(c)(3) status must be attached to the grant application. A victim services provider is a nonprofit, nongovernmental or tribal organization or rape crisis center, including a State or tribal coalition, that assists or advocates for domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking victims, including domestic violence shelters, faith-based organizations, and other organizations with a documented history of effective work concerning domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
